PILLS
Pharmaceutical Innovation through Laser Lithography Strategies
About Us
We are an undergraduate team of researchers from the class of 2024 Gemstone Honors Program at the University of Maryland, College Park.

We are studying the implementation of 3D printing in biodegradable materials in hopes of creating a compartmentalized pill to control the release of HIV drug cocktails
Our
Team
Our team comprises of undergraduate researchers, a team mentor, and our team librarians.

Mission Statement
Our goal is to improve upon HIV drug cocktail delivery through the use of a compartmentalized biodegradable pill, creating a more effective form of drug delivery.
Our Project
This project aims to improve on additive manufacturing strategies (3D printing) to develop a compartmentalized and biodegradable capsule with geometry that can be modified to control the release of HIV drug cocktails.
